Brio is an Italian-Canadian drink first made in the 1950s by Italian immigrants seeking familiar flavours. Produced in Weston, ON, still to this day, it has become a staple of Canadian cuisine reflecting Italian traditions.
Original Brio “chinotto” is a type of Italian cola with a bittersweet citrus and a slightly herbal finish thanks to the fruit of the myrtle-leaved orange tree that’s found in the Mediterranean. A spicy cola.
New additions to Brio include “craft” sodas made with cane sugar and, as with original Chinotto, the authentic natural flavours in our products are all imported from Italy. Not to be overlooked, MIO™ Gassosa and Bitter are available in 1L sizes.
